Right. There's been a lot of talk about #AltText and it's place here on the fediverse of late.
Whether you're blind, deaf or sighted, I'd be curious to not only have you fill out the relevant choice, but feel free to respond to this with more detail if you like.
Do you make use of, benefit from or even find alt-text useful, whether for images or audio?
@FreakyFwoof I've been putting alt-text on things I post because it feels like the obviously right netizen thing to do, but it's almost always just me restating what the text portion of the post says. Similarly, most of the people I follow aren't only posting images, and an honest assessment of my own behavior is that I don't check the alt-text for any benefit to myself.
